Question on trans oil

I need some clarification on this. In draining the oil on my 44 WLA the manual say to lay the bike on the right side but not to leave it on its side for longer than 2 minutes. Does this sound correct or is there another way? Also what does the drain plug look like? I see what might be a way to drain the oil but I am not sure. Thank you.

Hi Mark...There is no drain plug. Most people I know use a turkey baister with a short piece of tubing attached and suck out
as much as you can. This method doesn't work too well but allows you to at least rotate some of the oil....Rod
