VL Optional Chrome Package

Hello,
What parts were included in the standard optional chrome package on the VL models? I have read that anything could be chromed if ordered that way, but I am particularily interested in the standard chrome package. Specifically, 1934. I know that the oil pump & generator end covers were included, but I assume there were more. Thank you!

Lists "Special Chrome Plating Job" for $13.50, but doesn't break it down like it does in later years.

Dear Byron, the 1934 model launch Enthusiast shows the chrome package covered the handlebars, generator end cover, exhaust pipes, saddle bar assembly, muffler, tail pipe, oiler and timer cover, intake pipe clamp nuts, valve spring covers and front brake control clamp. At $13.50 this was a significant cost compared with the $310 list price for the bike. We see few original chrome handlebars so can assume most bikes left the factory in standard plating. The AMCA judges will deduct for an inconsistent chrome package, particularly after about 1932 when the factory was trying not to have too many specials down the line.

I thought I would just add to this... my '36 VLH had some chrome on it when I got it. Chrome handlebars, front crash-bar and headlight. I am not sure what was or if ANY of that was original, but I know the chrome was OLD OLD OLD. I did not have chrome valve covers or any of the other stuff Steve mentioned. However, mine did have a 4 speed shifter gate on it, sadly... only a 3 speed transmission that I have NO idea what year it is... BUT, just have fun with it!
