Vl hand oil pump leather seals ?

Need to replace the 2 leather seals on end of the hand pump . What way do they go in ? Back to back with cups on outside or cups in same direction ?

Pic in Steve's book looks like back to back, cups outward.

The bottom cup will point down and the upper cup will point up.

And don't forget the 3 steel washers. Or the cotter pin so you don't leave it in the bottom of the oil tank.
