  • 45" clutch & starter gear questions

One clutch gear is tapered at the end of the gear teeth and the other isn't. Does it matter as far as year difference, performance/application?

For the starter gears, is the one on the left aftermarket, OD measures 1.675, just looks roughly cut on the teeth?
Center gear measures about 1.725 on the OD, OEM?
What is the gear on the right for, no lugs on the bottom, all internal splines the same width, OD 1.555, height about .390.

Thanks in advance, I appreciate any input.

The clutch gears are probably equally strong unless the one on the left is aftermarket.
The start gear on the rt. isn't for a 45. I'm guessing but maybe for a VL.
The other two I would check the engagement in the cluster and use the best fit.
