    Oil Lines

Hey, What's the hot ticket for repairing or should I say re-flaring oil lines? The 37's feed and return lines were dripping so i took them off and they look like they are barely flared and need to be re-flared. Can I use a flare tool for soft copper tubing, like for household use? It seems like it would work.

No! The oil line flare is 29 degrees and proprietary to Harley. A pluming flare is 45 degrees and hydraulic industry standard 37 degrees. You need to make a custom head for your flaring tool. Bob L
