  • Correct Rubbers for 1934 VL Kicker Pedal

I've recently noticed replacement rubbers for VL kick starters saying that the ends of the rubber blocks should be bevelled. The parts catalog does not show this. What is correct?

Original bikes show tapered/bevelled kick start rubbers for 1934 and plain ends for 1935, but we don't know when exactly the change was made. Later parts books would show the plain ends as these were the production items at the time. There was no change in part numbers as the new part fitted older bikes.
