    VL Carburetor/Manifold Questions

I have the correct carburetor for my 1934 VL, the M21, however I'm not sure about the intake manifold. The manual calls for an 1107-33 but the sizes listed indicate that I may have an 1107-36 or 1107-36A type. These are all Y type manifolds. Will any of these fit the M21 carburetor and 1934 VL cylinders? Secondly, what does an M51 carburetor fit?

Dear Leomags, the 1107-36 is a 1" manifold for the Servicar, so you'd know if you had this one. The 1107-36A is for a 1 1/4" carb but is longer that the 1107-33 for the VL. The VL manifold has casting number 503-33 on the bottom flange which can usually be deciphered. It is the shortest Y-shaped manifold you are likely to see. The M51 Linkert is outside my period, but I'd say 1937 and up U and UL. The ULH takes the M51L.
