      Johnny,

      I have a very good metal fabricator in Canada that can repair or build you a new tank. He's not cheap though. Let me know if you need his contact info.

        No,I didn't use a match to inspect the tank.As a firefighter I know better(or so you would think)ha,ha.I made the repair,but you should see what I did to the beautiful paint job!I have pics in my puter,but can't figure out how to add them to this,asks for a url ?????? The problem started with the brass fitting on the bottom of the expensive repop tank falling off.It was soldered on and thats what failed!The bottom of the fitting wasn;t flat and smooth,it had deep gauges and grooves in it.I don't think solder is meant to fill big gaps.
