Trying to find part number for transmission sprocket nut which holds sprocket to trans gear. I could not find this nut in drawings in Steve's book, but might be looking in wrong place. Is this nut used only on VL (or JD) or any other later model harleys? Also is there any source of reproduced roller bearing cage for VL clutch basket. I believe it is not reproduced, but not sure. Thanks again!

Dear Buster, the sprocket nut is 2335-15, so you can see it was used from the first Harley 3-speed in 1915 until the knucklehead box came out in 1936. I've made new ones, which was a pain as they are left hand thread and hardened, but the old ones often go round again if you grind off the chisel marks. The roller bearing cage for the VL is good old 2 x 301-15, with four used in the big twin crank pin assembly 1915-36. I've been using up old ones but getting near the bottom of the bucket.
