Left over VL part, help needed

Just took apart my transmission and rear brake drum & then put back together. When I got through I have a large flat washer left over which is approx 2 5/16" outside diameter, 7/8" inside hole diameter, and 1/8" thick. Were does this go, what did I miss in the reassembly. Thanks.

Dear Buster, I can think of two possibles but both are 1" i.d. 4053-30 is the side cover collar which goes between the inside of the rear brake cover and the felt washer 3979-30. 2500-19 is the thrust washer that goes between the clutch bearing and the sprocket nut.
