  • Looking for an exploded veiw diagram of a seat post ...

I bought a new set of heavey (220#+) seat post springs and I'm looking for an exploded veiw seat post diagram with the spring measurements and showing their location.

I have seen a really detailed seat post diagram with measurements and spring location on one of the old bike sites or maybe in a book/manual. I just can't find it and my addled brain can't remember where I saw it.

Yes, I know I can note there order when I disassemble, then reassemble in the same order as it came apart, but... what if the last person put it together wrong? How would I know? To be sure...
    1) I'd like to research it a little first, before I rip and tear into it.
    2) I want to measure and compare the new springs before assembly. I'll also want to measure and compare the old springs to see if and/or how worn they are so I can determine if they're usable or junk.

I know I've seen one somewhere. Has anyone else seen one? I'm hoping someone can tell me where to find one and/or possibly post a link to one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks...Joel
