  • Restoration of VL Handlebars, Replacement?

My 1934 VL project has a set of handlebars which I believe are original. They are very pitted, as is the rest of the heavy iron on this bike. Part of the hand brake still welded to them and they may need some straightening too. Aside from the way they look, they seem to be sound. Should I consider their restoration or should I look for a better replacement? I would have to find someone to do this task and am not familiar with the cost of such work. Recommendations? Shops which do this type of work?
