Allegheny Mountain Chapter - Raccoon Creek Run 6/30/18

Member Jim Graulty sponsored a 96 mile run meeting at Raccoon Creek Sate Park PA for a run into the WV panhandle and up to Olglebay Resort. WV roads do not disappoint as you are either going up, down, multi back to back twists, 180 degree hairpins and some washouts from heavy rain! Great weather with no rain for once. It was nice to only pay $2.67 for gas in WV vs $3.09 in PA.

Jason Z, posting those fantastic pictures is so generous of you. It takes a lot of effort to put up that many pictures. What an amazing number of good looking motorcycles on that run; particularly that 1940 Indian Chief. I sold my '40 a few years ago and regret it, so every time I see one, it hurts all over again. Thanks again for this visual gift.

Thanks for the replies guys. I try to keep this basement forum breathing.
Eric, that 40 is a real nice machine alright but then again anything good friend IRD rides is special. It was recently finished and had its debut at the National in the Catskills 3 weeks ago. It was built to go (80 cu in)not show but it sure is a handsome bike. It runs so good owner IRD (Indian Rider Dave) can now keep up to me when I’m riding 2-up

Those are some really good pictures. I just now looked at them, gives a person some inspiration to keep the restoration moving along.
