Some pics from our recent run planned and led by Lynn Moyer. Riding the Laurel Highlands in SW PA never disappoints. We had a surprise visit from the daughters of Dr Earl Chalfant who was a past AMCA president from 1982 and 1983. They learned our starting point was in Donegal PA and it just happened that they had a family reunion in same area so they stopped to see the bikes and especially Indians. For people like me who never knew their father, it was great hearing stories of him. It was obvious the impression their dad left on them as they were genuinely interested in seeing the old bikes.
Stops were Ohiopyle State Park, on to Confluence, then Mt Davis highest point in PA, then to Meyersdale PA for Lunch (famous for their Maple festival in the spring), back to Donegal through Rockwood, New Centerville, with a stop at Kings covered bridge.
