    1966-1970 Servi-Car Delcotron Alternator

My alternator works fine but would like to pick up a backup for when it quits on me. I scoured my alternator for identification but there is no tag or sticker on it. I did find numbers in the body casting. They are as follows. 6H3L 12V NEG... I am certain this alternator, an external voltage regulated type, was used in the auto industry as well. The parts book shows it was used on the 1966-1970 GE model Servi-Cars. after that, an internal voltage regular type was used. I would like to stay with what it was built with. The Harley Davidson part number is 29958-65. Leads would be much appreciated. Maybe your 1966 to 1970 Servi-Car has better identification on your alternator ?? Thanks, Paps

Found a spare. All I had to ask for was an alternator for a 1970 Chevy Nova with a 6 banger engine.
