Sidecar springs

Hello, Does anyone know of a supplier of sidecar springs like the one shown here?

This is the sidecar that was on my 1919 Reading Standard from about 1920.

No known supplier........however.......Bob Jones in Ohio was having them made for the early Indian Princess sidecars. The difficult thing is getting the material, thin in that width. Years ago I had some made by a local spring shop, but much thicker material. Bob found a local Amish carriage make who would make the springs for him. I've not been able to get in touch with him now for a year. PM me and I'll share his contact info. You can also take your springs to a good spring shop and have them re-arched and tempered as another option.

Jack: I bought spring steel from Admiral Steel in Illinois several years ago. It was 1045 grade and they had a size very close to what I needed for a Rogers sidecar. I shaped it and formed the loops at the ends and then had it heat treated. It tends to move during heat treating so perhaps a fixture to hold it during the heat treat process might help. Tom
