  • Belt Drive - Stick Belt Dressing

Does anyone know where one can still purchase the "stick belt dressing" that was used on the drive belts of early motorcycles. i.e., 1912 H-D, belt drive.

Hello Les , I don't know if this will help but I use Hycote Belt Slip , for my 1912 Excelsior , made and supplied here in England , don't know if you can get it there , they also do speciality aerosol paints , here's a link to their web site , hope this helps or you find something a bit more local , Ken

Hello Les again , I just did a search on that place that has everything -- ebay , came up with three different suppliers - Ambersil , Tigress and BD-90 , all purporting to give your belt grip and longer life !! I'm sure you will find the same in the US ebay , regards , Ken
