What I like in the picture above is the exhaust whistle. I'd love to have that setup on my bike!

The time frame was extended by things like raising a family and paying for a house. Yes, pretty exhilarating. Especially when I got tired of straight ahead, so I decided to run down the driveway and turn out into the alley. The combination of long wheelbase and high gearing in the old one-speed had me heading straight for the neighbour's fence! I'll spend a little time in the parking lot before I head out anywhere.
I'll put a picture up in a couple of weeks, when I have it all back together, but all '13 Hendersons look pretty much the same you know. (Except my friend Luke's because he put Henderson the tandem seat on his.)

Peter the "slow" was all in fun. I'm on the tail end of the exact situation. I know guys that have been picking away at projects for a good 30 years now so maybe we're actually speedy!

Here is my end-result.

After carefully studies of photos in Richard Schultz book on this model with the Henderson Brothers I found a solution for painting.
Hopefully this will be as close to the original as possible.

Your 1913 Henderson is beautiful Bertil. I don't know what it is with Hendersons, but they seem to take a long time to finish. Of course, finding original parts is the biggest problem, but finding information, and someone to ask questions of is the other problem. There are a lot of people that know v-twins, and a lot of people that know cars, but a Henderson is neither of those. . Of course a big wallet helps, but even at that, money won't always get you there. When you first took on your '13 I'm sure you only found genuine stuff (when you could find anything). It's easier now with all the reproduction, and Cannonball interest in Hendersons, but I miss the days of going through junk boxes at an AMCA meet and discovering a Detroit Henderson part in a pile of Indian, or Harley junk. You really should be proud of yourself Bertil, you did a beautiful job.Eric Smith

Very nice bike Bertil! You have done a lot of work since I saw it in your workshop ;-)
Are there anyone who can help me with information about painting on my 1915 long frame?
Is there pinstriping on the frame on this model?
I have read Schultz book and investigated the pictures, but don't find an 100% answer.
Anyone got an extra Berling magneto for me?
