My new Miami, a 1915 battery model i believe. Looking to trade a magneto motor for a battery one, also looking for an early gas tank and any other Miami parts Thanks..

When you find a bike that old, and complete, there is usually a good story about how it survived. Beautiful motorcycle, Louie and I know it has significance for you because it was made in Middletown, Ohio.

People that know me know that I've had Miami stuff along time and am always looking. This chassis came to me by email from a guy that saw some of my post on the web and contacted me. His story was his grandfather got it out of, and i hate to say it, a barn, many years ago. It is complete except the internals of the rear hub, even the drive belt is still installed. He also contacted Barber museum who sent someone out to look at it but not before I made in an offer for it, he decided to sell to me when I told him after I get it together he and his dad can come and ride it anytime. I installed a spare motor in it and a partial tank, i'm working on getting a better tank.

Your Miami is looking great, Louie. You did an amazing job on the muffler, very impressive. I've made mufflers for a '16 Ex, and '16 H-D. Tons of work but worth the effort. I love seeing people grab the bull by the horns and fabricate parts that no one makes !
