13 Thor cyclinders being bored and sleeved

Guys,

Dale at Motion machine did an awesome job on my 13Thor cylinders - that were really bad - I was very nervous sending them to someone who never did work for me before but they know their business and they can bore and sleeve blind cylinders.

Definitely trust and recommend Dale

incidentally I was able to use a flathead ford 239 pistons with carillo rods

Great to hear Chris, I am curious on the journal rollers/races what you did there. I spent quite a bit of time trying to find rollers and settled on slightly under stock at .375 with new outer races. Please let me know if you found a source for original rollers, had some made, or other.

unfortunately - this is a problem for the case races and cages . I got slightly larger roller bearings and am having the stock races bored larger and have to make new cages. incidentally - I put the cases in the oven at 400 deg and the races came right out without any pressing, banging or forcing. I have to check the rod rollers - I was able to get a size that was the right dia - but the length was a little off.

I did get the needles from Simplybearings.com in the UK
