  • 1915 Excelsior twin Carb parts needed

    Hello all,

    I'm working on a 1915 Excelsior Big valve. The restoration is largely complete. In the process to get it running on it's 100th anniversary (some time this year) I am in need of the float and needle for the Schebler carb. I'm told they are still available. Does anyone know a good source?

    Thanks.

        BillX!

        I machine to order three models of HX floats;
        My server may eventually curtail my liberty@npoint.net address, so Folks can also email me direct at:
        libertynightshift@yahoo.com, or @gmail.com, or @outlook.com

        (I also produce much of the other hardware, but only offer them with my services, as it seems like the variety of early HX models is endless. There are at least three different floatvalve needles, two shown here.)

          Happy to say the carb was rebuilt and the 1915 is officially running for the first time in 75 years. Still needs a little clutch adjusting but the engine sounded great.

                  Thanks Dale. My great Uncle owned it from roughly 1920-1972. Although when I got it in 1976, it was a very complete find but not quite in this condition.
