      This bike (or a replica of it) is apparently at the Curtiss Museum in central New York. It's on my trips list one of these summers. Because it's supposed to be a really cool museum.

      Glenn Curtiss had, for lack of a better term, los cojones. That bike was powered by an aircraft engine... and he rode it on sand. Hard wet sand. But sand isn't a nice long concrete runway.
