Just stumbled on this thread again today. Beautiful job on that '66 Honda Eric. I bet you'll have a blast with it once you get the little electrical issues ironed out.
And already you're starting work on another bike. I wish I had half your ambition! That '16 Harley looks like it's all there but the speedo!

Thanks, Clark. I keep the Honda in my small shop which is a big enough to enjoy working on one bike, but it is best to move the visiting motorcycle out when working on a bike on the lift. It's always a bit sketchy walking bikes in and out because the entrance to the shop has a number of booby traps just waiting to trip me. Compounding that is my new bionic knee which is now 1.4 years old and doing very well but I think it is prudent to be extra cautious. I want to keep the Honda close by because I want to get it running/riding soon and if I put it in deep freeze I'll go onto something else; also, I just love the way it looks. I am at an age, and sensibility that I want to get all these 'dang' motorcycles running, and rideable so I can enjoy them. I do love the shop time as much, or more than riding because I know I am a bit too wild and love the thrill of going faster than I should. In this modern age of over-population, and horribly incompetent car/guided missile drivers diminish the fun of motorcycle riding. However, I truly believe that the excitement, and danger of biking is the essence and undeniable lure of motorcycles since their very beginning. Motorcycles have the power to turn normal people into animals and I don't care who you are, that is fun.
