Big fan of Yamaha XS1100. Have one that was used in a Judas Priest video that MTV gave away in a contest.

    This was the video "Turbo"

The interesting issue this bike had was MTV disabled it so that it could not be used on the street. The crank shaft and rods were removed. I have since restored the motor to running condition. Its a cool bike Mad Max style. Ian Hill the base player rode this particular in the video. This was over 30 years ago. God I'm getting old.

Working on the bike. Cleaned every electrical connector with Deoxit. Bike didn't have a title so I did the Vermont registration thing.

Used two bikes to make one. First red XS11 had rotted motor, carbs, & tank. Got it out of a swampy back yard.

Bike #2 was chopped but had a decent motor that turned over. Rebuilt the cabs and set the valve lash. Runs great. Very powerful motor.

Yea Jim. Diamond plate aluminum hammered with a porkchop and sharpened on a rock. What you didn't see was the fire extinguisher fuel tank. Or the fact that when he obviously used a Sawzall to cut the pipes off without removing them first, he kept right on going and sawed halfway through the lower frame on the right side. No wonder it was free. However, the motor is tight.

Almost like he wanted to build a Mad Max bike?
