It took awhile but the bike is with its 2nd owner now. ( my brother never registered it so that don’t count)

This is my 1955 R69, the 257th built of a total of around 3000 built between '55 and '60. I also have a 1965 R69S but it is not running at this time. That is a beautiful bike, John. I had a shot a one that was for sale for a few years (with little interest) at Schmidt's Cycle in Orlando, Fl. Who knows where it wound up, but it wasn't with me and I kick myself for being so narrow minded to pass up such a beauty. Hope you have many years of fun with it.
