  • Need info on TWN BDG125

I recently bought an original 1951 Triumph-Werke Nurnberg BDG 125H. I know very little about them but the two piston, one combustion chamber "Twingle" engine intrigued me.

So far all I've uncovered is the first two pages of what I think is the German language service manual for it on the internet. Would anyone have any suggestion where I might find out more or maybe even get manuals?

    Thanks,
    Rich

Many years ago I had a '64 Sears-Allstate 250cc made by Puch in Austria, same type motor I think. Easy to work on, fun at the time. Might be some info on it on the web.

This shows how the Sears/Allstate/Puch works. Other examples show a Y-shaped con-rod that doesn't look very strong. Sears claimed more low-end power than a "normal" 2-stroke.
