what do you people use to clean the rubber solo seats on the /2's? would white wall cleaner hurt them?
    thank you

Armor-all or any similar product. They are rubber, they oxidize, but most cleaners make them slippery, so be aware of that. Is it ridden or just shown? If the latter I can't help you...

      Howdy sir,

The original formulation for Wesley's Bleach White was absolutely superb: removed oxidized rubber restored grip to hold one's backside in place etc.. Do not know when they changed but it is a far less potent product now. One word of caution for heavier rider's, the more effective cleaners do restore the rubber surface but at the same time after a liberal application of preservative will impart enough new found compliance that the seat can sag to the steal ribs under load, argh!

The worst offender are Steigers which are soft to begin with, Pagusa's a bit better and Denfeld's hands down the least effected.....and coincidentally the hardest covers to mount on their frames.
      Cheerio,
      Peter
