I recently acquired a restored 1961 Berlin. It had been in storage for several years. It will not fire. Any suggestions on diagnosing this problem or finding parts will be appreciated.

I have never seen parts in the USA try Motorrad Stemler in Germany, they have parts for most German brands. nice find, they are rare -

Start with the basics. Make sure the tank does'nt have rancid gas in it. Be sure the petcock is flowing gas. Pull the plug and be sure its gapped right and is getting spark or not. Check for blown fuse or shorted wires....let us know what you find.
