For a period of time "Twin Port" and "Dual Port" engines were quite popular among almost all the English and French and other European engine builders. However the one pictured appears to be a loop scavenged two stroke with the carb mounted low on the side like that. Many were smaller displacement 4 strokes, 250, 350, 500.

I recall Greg Williams, 'Pulp Non-Fiction' in our club magazine discussed a single motor that had 2 exhaust headers. Seems like that was early in a '21, or late '20 issue.

(not V-twin and not belt drive....but it does appear to have two exhaust headers?)
