  • Bonneville VIN's

    I've got two 1979 Bonneville 750 Specials. Based on the VIN's can that be correct?

    #1 ~ T140DBAxxxxx
    #2 ~ T140DDAxxxxx

    I've tried several Triumph sites to no avail. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks !!

    Sounds right to me. The numbers you posted indicate that both are 1979 Bonneville’s and that one (B) was produced in Febuary and the other (D) was produced in April. Hope this helps.

    T140DBA= T140=(750cc) (D=Bonneville) (B=Febuary) (A=1979)
