  • Early Triumph fuel petcock

I'm looking for a fuel petcock for a 1953 6T. The one I am using now is a re-pop from a large midwestern supplier, that was listed with the correct Triumph part number, but does'nt really look right. My bike's not a 100 pointer so I could live with it, but it is hard to operate and has gotten worse. As long as I am going to replace it I might as well get one that looks right also. Anyone out there know of a good source for this animal? Triumph calls this a "Tap, petrol feed" part # is F-3057 or 82-3057.
By the way I still have the original, but even trying to lap it in etc I could never get it to stop leaking. Maybe someone out there has a better idea than I do, to repair my old one?
    Thanks, Doug.
