Information on building a front wheel for a 1971-72 conical hub is scarce including the factory manual. I did find something online that I interpret as from the outside of the brake drum to the edge of the rim should be 1/2”. Can someone confirm this and if not the correct measurements and to and from the correct measurements are taken? I also believe when mounted the rim should be centered in the forks. Is this also correct?Thanks.
