There has to be a story there...
I know my first Brit bike was a Triumph that was basically a new bike... barn find. I cleaned it up and it was gorgeous. But I almost killed myself 4 times in the first 10 miles. Sold it to a friend who was an experienced Brit rider and had to own it.
I loved that machine... but the pedals were all British-like... And I figured I'd die before I learned not to downshift with the brake... and jam into lower gears.
So Louie... such a nice looking machine... only a few months in your hands. What's the story? Inquiring minds want to know?
Cheers,
Sirhr

Multiple electrical problems which all have been sorted out (holding my breath), when I got it it leaked more oil than any HD that I've ever had, resolved all but one leak with new gaskets, the forks were a disaster, ended up buying an original and replacing. To be fair, I've been riding it every day for the last week or so and even rode it last night with no problems. It starting to grow on me but I think it's one of those bikes that is just going to take time before I feel the love. It is unique and in original condition and a "Senior" bike in the judging system, so as long as it stay reliable and I can gain some more confidence in it, I may hang on to it......unless some Norton guy out there just hast to have one then.......Louie

Update, well the old Norton is still growing on me, got it pretty dependable with no electrical problems or oil leaks, starts up easy and rides good. Took it to Wauseon where I won one of the field events and got Winners Circle with 98.25 points. Also visited an old friend on the way home and picked up a 1952 Matchless that I looked at a few years ago and he was willing to part with....here we go again....Louie
