Help me Identify my dads old bikes

All I have are these old photos of my dads flat track bikes.
The first is obviously a BSA, but what model?
The second I have no idea.
I do know the photo were taken in 1961.
Any help would be great and thank you.

They are both Gold Stars.

Great pic, thanks for sharing. As Robbie said, both are Goldstars and I'll bet they sounded good on throttle. Is that you on the bike Lux?

The near bike has a front brake so was used for either TT or road racing (it doesn't appear to have an air filter), while the far back has no front brake but a serious air filter so it is set up for half-mile or mile dirt track.
