  • M-21 clutch noise normal?

    Brain pickin' again LOL

When the bike is running and in gear and stopped with the clutch dis-engaged, there is a noticable bearing type noise from the clutch.

Also, when in neutral and engine running, on the centerstand the rear wheel spins, but it's easy to stop with a foot against the tire.

Is just the nature of the beast or might I have questionable bearings in there?

    Thanks, Wayne

The spinning wheel is normal, but a bearing noise definitely is not. Unfortunately, these things don't heal themselves, and only can increase the expense of the eventual repair that is inevitable, so you shouldn't ignore it.
