also: who is a good source for rebuilding the splitdorf du-5 generator & magneto?

In addition to Gene, I also understand there's a fellow in Europe, perhaps Spain or Portugal ,who's making period correct ones with modern internal updates. Don't recall the name though.

You need a DU-7 to be correct for the KJ. These are hard to find! Also, Antonio Esteves in Portugal has new DU-5 and 7 generators. His email is: esteves7@gmail.com
