Henderson/Excelsior thread size

Can anyone tell me the inner thread size for Henderson and Excelsior forks ?? this would be the the thread for the two holes on either side of the fork post that the two plugs screw into. Is the size the sam for all Henderson - k, deluxe and kj ? Same for excelsior ?
Lastly, is anyone making taps that size ??

Don't have access to those parts at the moment, but I recall from making a set of the plugs that they are 24 threads per inch, like most machined X and Hen parts! I don't know of anyone making a tap for that hole. Try the KJ exchange. And yes, those threaded plugs are the same for teens X through 24 at least and also Chicago Hendersons through Deluxe era at least.

I measure 7/8 x 24 on my 24 X, which is the same as 15-24 X , 20-21 K model and Deluxe I believe. No idea on KJ, that's new fangeled stuff.

That's not a common tap but is available, search the net....
