Reading the book right now. Not too much about the bikes, rather it is the travel logs that were published in Motorcycling magazine. The author did some good historical research and supports the claim that Clancy did ride his Henderson around the world. Worth the $20.

Thanks for the review Dave. I'd like to hear more about the original trip but it sounds like an interesting read all the same.

Also check out Jupiter's Travels and Dreaming of Jupiter by Ted Simon. He's been around the world a couple times, first on a Triumph years ago and then on an airhead BMW. I've not read Frazier's book but Simon's gives a great account of what is like to ride such an adventure.

Me thinks Dr. Frazier is an Indian (native American) guy outta Colorado. He used to be on the Club Road Runs (DJ Run) on a Vincent. He also does the elephant ride up Pikes Peak on a Sport Scout. He hit a Coyote on the Arkansas Road Run some years ago, and it banged him & his wife up, but they made the banquet after it all.
                Sounds like interesting reading.
