Hey Jim,
It is my understanding that Crocker went in the hole on every V-Twin he sold. His machine shop essentially subsidized his motorcycle production. Crockers cost more than both the Harley and Indian of the era and the War was the end of bike production for him. The government would not allow precious materials to be released to him for his last remaining "nearly" finished machines and he scrapped what was left and called it a day.Cory Othen
