my grandpa used to have the monarch in his collection and sold it to his friend Bud Ekins. I believe it always stayed with Bud, I've read that it is his favorite bike. It's the only one that is still around I always heard. You will see that bike in the Nov. '71 issue of cycle world in the article called the "restorer". Have fun.
