Is this seat bicycle of motorcycle? What approx. year and make would it be for? There is an embosed emblem that is hard to read, looks like circle with wings at 3 & 9 o,clock and the letters 'Euperbe' maybe? in script on both sides of the seat right where your legs would go. It's a Troxel seat for bicycles. The motorcycle seat in the same style is about 12" long. -

Bob, that seat was made from about 1912 and used all the way through about 1925 on bicycles. The motorcycle version, which is very similar to yours, but wider and longer, was used from 1912-1915 on various makes. Maybe a few years later on makes that I am unaware of.Comment
