  • Indian frame identify help

I have an Indian frame from late 20's or early 30's that I obtained with some other Indian items. I'm am not sure what model or year. Any help identifying would be appreciated. I am building a 101 Scout and used this frame for some fitment. I am selling it if interested. Only the frame, none of the other parts.
Thank you in advance for solving the mystery.

That's an interesting frame! I'm guessing late '27 or early 1928 Scout, pre 101 Scout and often referred to as "short frame Scouts". Among several clues are that the castings for the seat spring mounts are pre-101 Scout, but the castings where the front down tubes join the bottom tubes (in lieu of formed, or bent tubing) is a 1928+ feature. Do you have access to a frame drawing for the 101 Scouts so you can compare?
Pisten Bully is Harry Roberts in Vermont.

Thanks, I do have prints and parts to compare. It seems to be 90% Scout except for overall length and the seat mounts.
