I got a nice message from D.A.Bagin about a month ago, which I replied to right away. When I look at 'sent messages' in the messages department, there is no reply to D.A. So, I just put a post script, and sent the same message back to him, and still no record of that. . . . For me, 'Messages' is unreliable, and seemingly pointless. Does anyone else have this problem?

I don't have any problems clearing mine, though Cotten must use his every day because each time I try to PM him, that message comes up--'this user has used their monthly quota of PMs'!
Just kidding, Cotten. That is the only issue I have had since the changes took place. Edits of forum posts works fine for me. I have had to use that one quite a bit--ha ha. I did not know you could edit PM content.

Yes there are some quirks about the forum and one of them is threshold for stored messages. The one thing to know about this is that the "box is full" message takes in to count all parts of message storage which includes sent messages, received (In-Box) messages and any messages that go to trash. So you need to go into these specific folders and clear out any unneeded messages that you sent or received. Consider that you could have a message that includes a (1) sent message from you (2) a received reply (3) your response sent to the reply (4) a response to your reply and (5) your confirmation you received the response to your replay. That's five messages right there for one message. It adds up.Originally posted by T. Cotten View PostYes, Folks,...

Often I'm told my box is full when it ain't.
