If the guy built it because he had a bunch of orphan parts laying around, I have no problem with it. It's pretty, and shiney, and creative. Calling it a racer, or a period modified is bogus. It's simply a fantasy bike. I'm amazed that 35 people have bid on it so far.

It looks to be a period modified to me. But being as I haven't seen any of the new judging information I can't say for sure.

If you mean the period from 2005 to 2010 then I would agree.

You guys are all wrong! It is to be judged in the new "Fantasy" class. As long as it is the way it came from the factory, (Any factory will do, even Willy Wonka's!) then it is all fine. And besides, H-D verified it so it must be real!

I asked this question on da udder forum and still curious. Matt said there was no "Peter" in the archives but apparently the seller spoke with someone based on his supplying a phone number and a "reference" number. My question is, does the MoCo really issue reference numbers for inquires to the archive?

Also, I am very interested this new "fantasy" class as I have been living in one most of my life so my junk would be perfect!

Come on guys, there's a very simple answer to this questions. Why don't you just ask the new "apprentice" Chief Judge. I'm sure with all his experience in the AMCA judging world, he will be able to tell you EXACTLY what this machine is and how it would fit in with the new rules.
