    Acceptable color for '47 FL?

I have a friend that is asking if "olive grren" is acceptable for a domestic '47 FL.
Palmer's "How to Restore Your HD" and Connor's "Data Book" list olive green as an original color for his '47; however, Connor lists it with the added identifier "(export)" after it.
Anybody out there have any knowledgeable input as to whether olive green is a legit original color for his '47 (is it "correct")?
Probably never will get judged but he wants it correct.

An olive green "export" model 74-inch Knucklehead? Why not?

It wouldn't be the first old Harley to show up that had "fallen off the wagon" on the way to the seaport; got diverted. Could have been for a thousand different reasons, ends up, it just never left the dock. Historical interest, if only built as a replica of an Export bike. Maybe some dealer or distributor shenanigans to help it along the way? And a Hunnert Point restoration of what THAT would have the potential to be?

Nah. Nobody'd be interested in that, I yam shore...

There are other differences on the export model other than the paint.
