Is it required to have the correct period spark plugs when having a bike judged?

for judging we usually for period spark plugs, if they are modern you might get a small deduction

Some people use a dummy set for judging. Then swap out for running plugs.Comment

I have a set of NOS plugs but I don't want to run them. So the swapping of the running plugs sounds like a good option if that is allowed. I just saw a set of plugs go for over $200.00 on ebay.Comment

sorry for miss spelling your name before(brain fade)
make sure someone at the meet(deputy judge etc) see's your bike running that weekend, then change to original style for judging

I would consider running your bike with the nos plugs,my experence is the bikes do run better with them.Why save the plugs for someone els? If the plugs haqppen to foul which i have found to be rare you can clean them up & all is well.If plugs erode use them as dummys as you had planned.
