  • Paint for sidecar

Anybody help me with this one ? We finished our 1961 FL in black with white panels and now we're starting 1961 sidecar to match.

I cannot find anywhere....were sidecars painted two-tone to match bike, or solid color ? I know I can't go wrong with black, and this is a rider, not a resto but I'd like to stay close to original.

    Any assistance would be appreciated

Sidecars were solid color from the late '30s on. However many were painted to match different schemes on the bikes, just that the factory did not do it.
