1937 WL 45 Paint Codes Needed

I'm working on my first 45.... a '37 WL.

Would like to gain some knowledge here in regards to the paint offerings from HD in 1937. Stock colors and the "optional" colors offered.

Also if anyone has any paint codes that transfer over specifically for Dupont or PPG that would be great! I'm a bit of a HD paint novice, so bare with me!

Very helpful site on paint, however, I'd like to save on shipping costs for the paint, and just go to my local shop (which I'm in close proximity to about 3 of them) and just pick it up there. Othewise I'd just order right from that fellow.

I had figured that since the boys who play with Model A's had figured it out pretty well (I'm one of those guys) then I thought the guys working on old Harley's may have done the same.

What have you fellows found works best for that old look? Traditional Laquers, PPG Urathanes, Dupont or PPG single stage??
