painting heads and cylinders

painting the heads and cylinders on 32 chief looking for advice for a good job and the right paint .. to bake or not to bake ...1 coat 2coat 3coat??? max temp on paint 500 1200 2500?? help..thanks chris

I used VHT black engine enamel, good for 550F, on my '52 Chief cylinders. Per the instructions on the can, I baked them at 200F. I used two coats, mainly to get the places I missed on the first coat.
