1919 HD Paint

I am looking for paint for my 1919 Harley Davidson Bicycle. It is olive green. Paint numbers or source would be helpful. I imagine it is the same color as motorcycle of that vintage. Brian

Hi there,
Over here we use an I.C.I. Paints colour called "Seaweed"
It's used by British Leyland on some models of Rover cars and so long as you use the correct shade of "Seaweed", there is two of them, you will have it looking just like when it left the factory.

I.C.I paint specs as follows,
Colour; Seaweed
Code; 10C39
Reference #; 420-0857 (39174)

The important bit identifying the correct shade of Seaweed is the 0857 sequence in the reference number.
